Flying home to New York this weekend from being out on my Music
Education Tour was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever
had in my life. Back to back, Saturday and Sunday, I had the
opportunity to support two causes I really care about! Sharing a
little love around always makes you feel so much better about life and
yoursellf!
We started off at the Brewster Ice Arena to lend a hand to the
American Heart Association. It was great to help raise money for a
cause that means so much to me. Having lost my grandfather to heart
disease, I was more than willing to lend my voice to make a
difference. My band and I sang for a sold-out crowd while many skated
the night away!
Some of my street team girls even came to show some
support. It’s always fun to see the girls and make a night out of it!
Later on, I was on the road again to Albany to meet a very special
little girl named Hannah at the Hannah’s Hope Benefit. She is a very
sweet, delicate, blonde angel who is only 5 years old and battling a
rare disease with no cure…YET. It appears that her awesome parents
will stop at nothing and are trying very hard to raise enough money to
aid the research. Meeting her alongside Drew Seeley backstage was one
of those moments where you realize what’s really important. Enough
said, I know why I went and I want to thank Hannah for the gift of her
smile. Other kids that came to be at her side and sing for the cause
were Push Play, Savannah Outen, Bre Morgan, and Ruth Collins.
Everyone that I already had met before (like Push Play and Drew) were
cool like always, and of course very talented! I loving meeting new
people too, like Bre and Savannah! It was so nice to finally meet
them. They were such sweet girls!
Well, I’m on back on a plane and off to Nashville to continue the
Music Education Tour. I can’t wait to meet new students who really
love music as much as I do. I will try and keep all of you updated
with photos and new blogs so you can come along with me everywhere I
go!
Lots of love, XoXo Tiffany
