Rewarding

Monday, March 30th, 2009

Flying home to New York this weekend from being out on my Music
Education Tour was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever
had in my life. Back to back, Saturday and Sunday, I had the
opportunity to support two causes I really care about! Sharing a
little love around always makes you feel so much better about life and
yoursellf!

We started off at the Brewster Ice Arena to lend a hand to the
American Heart Association. It was great to help raise money for a
cause that means so much to me. Having lost my grandfather to heart
disease, I was more than willing to lend my voice to make a
difference. My band and I sang for a sold-out crowd while many skated
the night away! :) Some of my street team girls even came to show some
support. It’s always fun to see the girls and make a night out of it!

Later on, I was on the road again to Albany to meet a very special
little girl named Hannah at the Hannah’s Hope Benefit. She is a very
sweet, delicate, blonde angel who is only 5 years old and battling a
rare disease with no cure…YET. It appears that her awesome parents
will stop at nothing and are trying very hard to raise enough money to
aid the research. Meeting her alongside Drew Seeley backstage was one
of those moments where you realize what’s really important. Enough
said, I know why I went and I want to thank Hannah for the gift of her
smile. Other kids that came to be at her side and sing for the cause
were Push Play, Savannah Outen, Bre Morgan, and Ruth Collins.
Everyone that I already had met before (like Push Play and Drew) were
cool like always, and of course very talented! I loving meeting new
people too, like Bre and Savannah! It was so nice to finally meet
them. They were such sweet girls!

Well, I’m on back on a plane and off to Nashville to continue the
Music Education Tour. I can’t wait to meet new students who really
love music as much as I do. I will try and keep all of you updated
with photos and new blogs so you can come along with me everywhere I
go!

Lots of love, XoXo Tiffany

Music Education Tour: Week 1

The Music Education Tour

At the start of my Music Education Tour, I decided that I would do a short blog every day. I get to see a lot and I’m so grateful that I get to see the country. I’m happy that I get to share my experience with you.

Springfield, MA
Day 1 on the ROAD! The tour bus is going to be my new home for the next 4 weeks..Today I went to Springfield for the first time in my life! The show went great, the response from the students was amazing. I gained a lot of new fans and I think I made a lot of people happy by getting them out of class!! After the show we went to a local 50’s Diner before we drove to the next city. I got to fill the bus with gas.. It didn’t go too well… haha! Talk to you guys tomorrow!

Warren, Rhode Island
The school in Warren had a great music program. They had not 1, not 2, but 3 classrooms dedicated to music performance and education. The principal was a HUGE music supporter and you could tell it was a big part of his life. The crowd today was one of the biggest I’ve done at a school. Oh yeah, did I mention it was St. Patrick’s day? Thank you to all of the students who brought me green carnations! LOL! After my set, the principal took me on a full tour of the school, the coolest parts were the TV studio and a room where they actually made boats! It was a fun day and I’m glad I got to spend St. Patty’s day with some great kids.

Schenectady, NY
Today we went to upstate NY, you know you’re upstate when you see signs for Canada. My favorite part of today’s show had to be the question & answer. They asked me sooo many good questions and I feel like they got to know me better than any other school. It rained a little today too so lets hope that doesn’t happen the rest of the tour.

West Milford, NJ
Living on the bus is fun, but getting up at 6am isn’t! Our show today was extra early but it turned out to be one of the best performances. SOO many students rushed to the front of the stage. I think the boys in the front enjoyed the show more than anyone! Their dancing was priceless. :D It was a fun first week and tomorrow I am co-hosting the “One is Greater Than None” benefit concert. So I’m pretty excited about that!

More blogs  to come on the schools for next week. If you go to TiffanyFan.com, they have exclusive pictures from every school and every city on the tour. I had a great week and hey, maybe I’ll be at your school next! :)

xoxo Tiffany

WOW!

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

I have had a crazy busy week, and I have so much share with all of you! I managed to ace some mid terms, and keep up with the career at the same time. I’m sure a lot of you can relate with school and sports and whatever you’re passionate about, its a lot of hard work and juggling on kids our age! But, at the end of the day, the feeling of self confidence is sweet!

I have been busy packing and getting ready to hit the open road! I have my tour bus in my driveway, and I am filling as we speak. Can’t forget my mac, so i can talk to all of you guys, and all of my favorite things…If I am coming to your school, GET READY for a great show, its gonna rock! I can’t wait to meet every one of you and hang out.

So last night I went to see BRITNEY with my cousins and girlfriends and she did and amazing job! The dancers, the lights, the music all came together and they put on an electrifying performance! I was rooting for her to do well, I always tend to root for the underdog, and glad she seemed to get her self back on track.

Speaking of underdogs, me being from an independent label and still climbing the charts on Radio Disney to this week at number 24 is the best news a girl can get! All of the artists are so talented on RD and i am a fan of many of them, so to be still climbing each week means that you guys believe in me and I am so thankful for that. Keep the votes coming in for NO AVERAGE ANGEL, all of you have so supportive and amazing, thanks so much. 1-888-327-7018 as many times as u can….

I will continue to work as hard as I can to make up there to the Top Ten one day. I am continuing to practice and rehearsal every day and I am always writing. My goal is to make the best rock music for you guys. I’m working on an exciting new cover, I think all of you will love, its by far my favorite to date, can’t wait to share it.

I’m leaving on sunday, but will be back in NYC to do a fundraiser with PUSH PLAY on March 20, then back on tour. That should be an awesome evening, if you’re coming, then I’ll see ya there. I am also co-hosting the event and this a first for me, I’m very excited.

Luv tiffany

School Tour!

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

Hey Guys,

This week was filled with a lot of preparation for my upcoming school tour to support Music Education! I spent lots of time at band practice, voice lessons and filling my new awesome tour bus with snacks and all the stuff I will need while I am on the road. It is going to be so much fun! Maybe I’m coming to your school, check my Myspace for the list of upcoming shows!

I had a great weekend. Saturday I spent the day in Dutchess County, NY where I performed at a huge PTA event! It was so much fun, the kids were so great and I got to meet lots of fans and made lots of new ones. My t-shirts were selling like crazy. If you bought one make sure to send me a picture of you wearing it! On Sunday I attended TJ Martell’s Family Day @ Roseland Ballroom. It was great supporting the cause and my friends, Push Play, who performed an amazing acoustic set. I also got to see Keke Palmer, who I haven’t seen since we performed together in the summer, and I also met Adrienne Bailon, she was so nice!

Another huge thing that happened this weekend is that I jumped 2 SPOTS on the Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown! “No Average Angel” is now #25. Lets keep voting and make it to the Top 20! I couldn’t do it without you guys! Keep up the great work and Thank You so much for all the voting you’ve done already!

Xoxo Tiffany

Push Play Blitz

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

I didn’t think the past few weekends could be topped considering they included singing at the NBA All-Star Weekend and walking the red carpets at an Oscar Party & the Jonas 3-D Movie Premiere but this weekend topped it! I spent the entire weekend playing shows with Push Play! It was so much fun. We kicked off the weekend in New Jersey, then headed to Pennsylvania, and wrapped it up in Connecticut! I want to thank everyone who came out and supported us, some fans even came to all 3 shows. Now thats dedication!

The Push Play guys are great & if you haven’t had a chance to check them out yet head over to their Myspace page @ myspace.com/pushplayrox It looks like I’m going to be playing a lot of shows in the future with them, so make sure to add them and learn all of the words to their songs! (My fav is Heart Attack…lol) I just want to Thank Push Play again for taking me out with them & all the fans who came to see!

Love you guys!

xoxo Tiff
