I’m so glad to take time and share my first Grammy experience with everyone. It was an experienceI will never forget and it totally inspired me in many ways. People don’t realize how much time and effort artists put in to achieve their personal goals. All the voice lessons, composing songs, long hours, basicallydedicating their whole lives to music. Passion for music is something i can relate too. My passion for music made going to the Grammy Awards a surreal experience! I am inspired to create my own path as I grow as an artist, thisyear and years to come. At 16, i know the journey will be an open book.
First off, running into Taylor Swift had to be a highlight. She has a warm spirit around her and she just glows. She was kind, as usual, to me and those around her. Meeting Elvis Costello, Ryan Seacrest, and Norah Jones was a plus… and evenSlash was just hanging around. I also got a peak at Katy Perry on the red carpet and she is soooo beautiful in person. The performances were amazing and I was honored to be with the good people from “People” Magazine. I am so thankful for having this opportunity because of them. I did see Perez running around and smiling and Lady GaGa was seated in the front, blocking the viewfor the man behind her. She can. She’s Lady GAGA! Lol I just love her music and consider her a major talent for our time. P!nk is at the peak of her career and she is so flexible, wow! I would have killed myself. lol.Beyonce was amazing, as usual, and so cute with her hubby Jay-Z. I also love Jamie Foxx. I attended a private-party where he performed and he is so talented, words can’t express. I saw Snookie in the lobby of my hotelbut I was shy too say hi. hahahhahaha. Dressing up for 4 nights in a row was fun and exciting, it’s nice to be home in jeans though…
I did have time for a writing session out in LA while I was there. I also met up with my good friends at FanLaLa. We shot a video segment and we have some really fun footage for everyone!
This year at the Grammys, you could feel the presence of Haiti and the relief they desperately need. I stillcontinue to pledge my time and efforts along with Free The Children. Hopefully can make some smalldifference. Hats off to all the artists who were involved with the “We Are the World” remake. I’m sure the proceeds willhelp make a dent in help for the children and families of Haiti.
Thanks for reading and look for more blogs soon. I will be performing at Pop-Con on February 20th at the Nassau Coliseum and I’ve been working extra hard to put on a great show. Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Push Play, Nat & Alex and soooo many other great artists will be performing too! I hope to see you there.
Free the Children is partnering with organizations in Haiti to provide immediate food and medical relief, and support to rebuilding and development efforts in the weeks and months to come. Click below to do your part.
Our family celebrated Christmas and it was so nice to spend time with cousins, friends, family and great food! We even had snowfall here in New York right before Christmas and that made it extra special.
There have been years that we have gone away for the holidays, but this year we stayed in New York and it was so relaxing.
My little sister Brooke, who is 8, was an angel in her school Nativity this year. It was so beautiful! Definitely a moment to remember!
It’s the special moments in life that make for great writing. Speaking about writing, I am very excited to share my new music with you in 2010. I have so much more to give and I feel like my life is just beginning! I’ve dedicated so much time to my music that I never even took my road test or learned how to drive. Soon enough I will give that a go! For now, I’ll rely on taxis, family, and friends to get around town!
I also had some amazing friends in from California and got to show them our Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. Then we visited the vendors in Central Park and did some fun shopping.
New Year’s Eve is approaching and I can’t wait to ring in 2010. Count on me to wish all of you the very best that life has to offer!Let’s do our best this year to make a difference as teens and have fun doing it. I hope to be helping my friends over at Free the Children in Canada. And I hope to be giving all of you some really great music! Here’s to 2010!!!
Love, Tiffany xoxox
The Vow of Silence was a very unique experience for me. So often during the rush of being a teen, we get caught up in constant communication. It becomes very distracting.
The meaning and message behind the Vow of Silence was very overwhelming to me. So much so, that it never really seemed like a sacrifice. I want to make a difference and be an advocate to teens my age. As a participant, it was an opportunity for me to lead by example. I must admit, it was hard at times. I wanted to text and tweet, but I got thru it.
A day in a life of an African child is extremely different when compared to mine. I just thought about their lack of food and water, never mind the technology. The Vow of Silence really leads you to think about others and their pain. I was glad to be a part of this event and I would definitely participate again, continuing to bring attention to a great cause. I only hope I can do more to make a difference one day.
November 20th marked the 20th anniversary of the Convention of the Rights of a Child, yet millions of children are still left voiceless. To learn more, visit www.iamsilent.com
I just wanted to update all of you on my new music! I have been songwriting and finding my own way in the music world. This time around, my style has matured and I really got involved in the whole process. The songs are so powerful. I know you will be able to relate and I can’t wait to share! They are great songs and I am really happy with the way everything is coming together.
Tomorrow I turn 16. It’s an exciting time in my life. I’ve been so busy practicing and performing with my band. We are having a blast everywhere we go. I look forward to seeing all of you at upcoming shows and letting you hear my new stuff.
Thank you for all of the love and support. The messages never stop coming in and YOU are truly my inspiration for all of this.
Looking forward to a great upcoming year. Hopefully 2010 will be a breakout year in many ways!
It’s been a busy summer of non-stop fun and excitement, forever on the go! I made my way to the IZOD Center to see the Jonas Brothers and I’m sure many of you did too! Wow they did an amazing job. Changing of guitars, new songs, rain, revolving stage, Honor Society, and my favorite Jordin Sparks! The boys outdid themselves and it was so good to catch up. We always pick up right where we left off and that’s with true friendship. I really missed them all. I got to congratulate Danielle and Kevin (who btw are an AMAZING couple). They are so cute and I think they’re a great match.
I finally got to meet Mitchel Musso at Six Flags in NJ. He was friendly and sweet. I love his music. I went on a few roller coasters there too and so did Mitchel. That and getting a henna tattoo on my wrist were the highlights of my day. The henna tattoo said LOVE on my inner wrist and it came off with water. My mom would not appreciate if it lasted any longer for sure! Hahaha.
So I just did a show at the request of my favorite magazine, J-14 at the Hard Rock in NYC. Talk about exciting. Not only because I was there performing with the talented Corbin Bleu and introduced by the handsome Drew Seeley, but mainly because of all the amazing J-14 readers that got to come out. I loved meeting each and every one of you and I hope you had just as much fun as I did. I’ve been interviewed a lot lately and I have to say that everyone working at J-14 Magazine leaves a lasting impression on me. They couldn’t be nicer people. Look out for upcoming issues and great stories coming from me! I was talking away all night and it should be interesting to read.
The summer is half over and we are headed up the coast to pick up my 2 llittle sisters from camp and reunite the Giardina family once again. It was weird being an only child for a month. I really missed them terribly and Spencer is lost without them pulling his tail.
Back on the road again by the end of the weekend for some California dates. If you’re in the area, come by and say hello.
Summer is always an adventure. You really never know what can happen. New friends, last minute plans, travel, summer crushes, it’s all good.
I’ve been trying not to be a workaholic, if that’s really a word. I have been taking time to relax a little and enjoy the sun and I even have dreams to complete some good juicy novels this summer! I have been catching all the latest movies that are out like Transformers 2. Wow that was good! The key is to see it in a real big theater to get the full effect of the sound! I even went to Broadway to see my friend Drew Seeley in The Little Mermaid, which was so worth it! =]
But I can’t help myself. I have been very creative lately and have been writing the most amazing songs, so you can bet on some new music in the future from me. The songs I’ve been working on are so cool and I’m so excited to share them with you one day. I love evolving as an artist. It really has been a great experience for me.
Music is everything to me. Speaking of music, doing the Radio Disney concert in San Francisco was awesome. I had the best time meeting new fans and even got to tour the city and visit Napa Valley with Team Tiffany. That was really beautiful and inspiring. I look forward to more shows this summer with some great artists. Please check schedule and come join the fun!
So the Jonas’ are coming to the New York area soon and of course I want to go and support my old friends. Their new album just shows how artists mature and keep everything new. I am especially proud of Nick and his recent visit to the US Senate on behalf of Diabetes. Trying to make a difference is so important. I recently have accepted, with pride, to be the American Ambassador to the organization Free The Children. I will fill you in on all of the details very soon. It’s a good start in a direction that I want to go, making a difference…
This fall is turn 16, and it’s an exciting time in my life in so many ways. Do I have a party or not have a party? I’m still on the fence about what kind of party. Big, small, casual, dressy? … I want something different… any ideas????
Make sure you enjoy your summer and make the most of it… I know I will! (come see me) lol
It’s summertime and I am out there every day searching for some sunshine! All it does in New York is rain =[
I’ve been doing some concerts here in New York. I also recently headed out to Hershey Park and did two
shows with Nat and Alex Wolff, who were really nice. They put on a high energy show. I did two shows that day, which were both great. I met some of the greatest fans ever!
I grabbed a hot dog and headed onto the biggest roller coaster in the park, I was so psyched because I went on “The Hulk” at Universal once, so this was my second time on a huge Roller Coster. I thinkI’ve got the bug! I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS!
Tomorrow, I head out to San Francisco to perform at the Radio Disney Firework Spectacular. I am so honored to be a partof this. I couldn’t be more excited! I want to see the city and plan on visiting all the sites in San Fran! GO DISNEY!
I want to wish everyone a very HAPPY and SAFE 4TH OF JULY! Happy Birthday America!
My prayers and thoughts go out to the Jackson family and especially his children. He was a musical inspirationto us all!
Live each day to the fullest!
And a special congratulations to Kevin Jonas on his engagement to Danielle who happens to be the sweetest girl!
I headed out to Hollywood and left New York far behind. Out of sight, but never out of mind. I was very excited to meet everyone at Radio Disney and I was not disappointed! The crew at Radio Disney could not have been more friendly and sweet. Everyone that works there was so gracious, and Jake and Ernie D are not so bad… just kidding guys, I love them!!! We started out with a fun interview with Ernie D who is an expert on the Radio Disney sound board, cool to watch him work his magic. He’s a genius! It’s a really amazing set up they have there, very cool. My band members came with me as well, Jake, Bryan, and Mike. My newest band member Jared will come next time. They helped out with my acoustic set and I sang “No Average Angel” and “Hurry up and Save Me”. I have a lot fun performing, because usually I like running all over the place singing and the acoustic set is very chill. It was super cool. I had Bop! on the scene and Tiger Beat to join the party too, nice people.
Jake and Ernie are very amazing guys and made me feel right at home and the listeners called in with some great questions. Sorry if you couldn’t get thru, I know a lot of you tried and I love you for that. I could just feel the support, I carried it with me all day from my fans. I was sitting there thinking, wow, someone like me living this dream, I am so grateful. I look forward to Radio Disney playing “Hurry Up and Save Me” and I want to be back to visit again soon. They mentioned that they love my east coast following! U guys don’t stop requesting, you are showing such great team spirit! It does not go unnoticed at all! =D
So I decided to stay another day to attend the Mitchel Musso’s music showcase at the Grove. Mitchel happens to be a really exciting guy and I was happy to be a part of the Grove experience. Miley came and the pops were all over her, she is amazing how she plows thru and get her job done with a big smile. The crowd loves her and she really looks like she loves what she does. I also got to spend time with other Disney artists and actors. It was an exciting event and I really felt special to see some of the Disney crew with my t-shirts on. BTW check out my new merch, its American Apparel and awesome!
I also managed to make food the focus of the trip, stopping at In and Out Burger and Millions of Milkshakes! I always get the Lindsey shake with some chocolate syrup added. Still have not had the Jonas shake, but it all wrong anyway, Kevin does not even like a certain ingredient thats in that shake, funny! haha!
Well, this summer is filled with exciting tour dates and I will be performing for very big crowds and I will do my very best. Please check my sites for the actual dates and peace and love to you all! I believe you will be able to buy tickets direct from my site which will come with special perks! ;]
