I just got back from a whirlwind trip to LA. I spent the last 2 weeks writing and recording with 2 amazing producers. It was a great feeling waking up every morning going to the studio and being about to put together a song and record it all in one day. I can’t even wait any longer for all of you to hear what I’ve been working on.
My family actually rented a house for our time in LA and even though almost all of my time was spent in the studio I couldn’t wait to relax by the fire pit in our backyard with everyone at night.
The 2 highlights of my trip had to be 1. Filming in a beautiful beach front home in Malibu with Molly Sims! & 2. Attending the Teen Choice Awards. I hope everyone got a chance to watch them. I’m not going to lie I completely freaked out when I saw Ian Somerhalder. There were actually tears in my eyes, I don’t know what I would have done if I met him.
Well I just landed back in NY and its good to be home. I hope everyone had a good summer, I know I did. Not looking forward to school, but I’m officially a senior! Class of 2011!
I just wrapped the video shoot for my song “Life is a Fairytale” which will be featured in this fall’s new BARBIE movie, “A Fashion Fairytale.” It was my first time working with a green screen, so I’m just as anxious as all of you to see how the video turns out! I got to work with Andrew Bennett & Matthew Heckerling again who also did the “Hurry Up & Save Me” & “No Average Angel” videos. The band and I had so much fun on camera performing, but probably a little more fun off camera messing around! Don’t worry… there will be lots of behind-the-scenes video, so look out for that. Some of my street team even came to make a special appearance in the video. It was a long hot day filming but I had so much fun & I can’t wait for everyone to see the video!
I performed my new song “Last Song” at a recent acoustic showcase in NYC. I have been working so hard in the studio and I cannot wait for everyone to hear my new voice/sound. You are going to die when you hear the studio version of “Last Song”. Hope you enjoy. – Love, Tiffany

This had to be one of the most memorable days of my life. It has been a constant hard working journey for me. To perform at a venue like Nassau Coliseum was an incredible experience. I worked really hard preparing for this show and I am so proud of how everything turned out.
I stepped up my cardio, my voice, my dance and I feel that I gave it my all. With Team Tiffany at my side, my dream became a reality. I got to preform in front of 16,000 people and received a great response from the fans who brought me there.
I started my set with “Hurry Up and Save Me” – I wanted to connect with kids who already knew that song from Another Cinderella Story. Then I sang 4 new songs… “Million Miles”, “7 Days In”, “Move On”, and ended with “No Second Chances”. It was hard to choose from all my new songs. I can’t wait to share more with you.
I happen to be writing and recording more new music every day. Many fans don’t know that I do write most of my own music. I hope to be performing at more events like The Pop-Con. I’m so happy that so many of you came to the Meet and Greet. Please feel free to watch me on YouTube or try to come out to see a live performance. I am very thankful for this opportunity and I hope to meet each and every one of you!!
I’m so glad to take time and share my first Grammy experience with everyone. It was an experienceI will never forget and it totally inspired me in many ways. People don’t realize how much time and effort artists put in to achieve their personal goals. All the voice lessons, composing songs, long hours, basicallydedicating their whole lives to music. Passion for music is something i can relate too. My passion for music made going to the Grammy Awards a surreal experience! I am inspired to create my own path as I grow as an artist, thisyear and years to come. At 16, i know the journey will be an open book.
First off, running into Taylor Swift had to be a highlight. She has a warm spirit around her and she just glows. She was kind, as usual, to me and those around her. Meeting Elvis Costello, Ryan Seacrest, and Norah Jones was a plus… and evenSlash was just hanging around. I also got a peak at Katy Perry on the red carpet and she is soooo beautiful in person. The performances were amazing and I was honored to be with the good people from “People” Magazine. I am so thankful for having this opportunity because of them. I did see Perez running around and smiling and Lady GaGa was seated in the front, blocking the viewfor the man behind her. She can. She’s Lady GAGA! Lol I just love her music and consider her a major talent for our time. P!nk is at the peak of her career and she is so flexible, wow! I would have killed myself. lol.Beyonce was amazing, as usual, and so cute with her hubby Jay-Z. I also love Jamie Foxx. I attended a private-party where he performed and he is so talented, words can’t express. I saw Snookie in the lobby of my hotelbut I was shy too say hi. hahahhahaha. Dressing up for 4 nights in a row was fun and exciting, it’s nice to be home in jeans though…
I did have time for a writing session out in LA while I was there. I also met up with my good friends at FanLaLa. We shot a video segment and we have some really fun footage for everyone!
This year at the Grammys, you could feel the presence of Haiti and the relief they desperately need. I stillcontinue to pledge my time and efforts along with Free The Children. Hopefully can make some smalldifference. Hats off to all the artists who were involved with the “We Are the World” remake. I’m sure the proceeds willhelp make a dent in help for the children and families of Haiti.
Thanks for reading and look for more blogs soon. I will be performing at Pop-Con on February 20th at the Nassau Coliseum and I’ve been working extra hard to put on a great show. Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Push Play, Nat & Alex and soooo many other great artists will be performing too! I hope to see you there.
Free the Children is partnering with organizations in Haiti to provide immediate food and medical relief, and support to rebuilding and development efforts in the weeks and months to come. Click below to do your part.
Our family celebrated Christmas and it was so nice to spend time with cousins, friends, family and great food! We even had snowfall here in New York right before Christmas and that made it extra special.
There have been years that we have gone away for the holidays, but this year we stayed in New York and it was so relaxing.
My little sister Brooke, who is 8, was an angel in her school Nativity this year. It was so beautiful! Definitely a moment to remember!
It’s the special moments in life that make for great writing. Speaking about writing, I am very excited to share my new music with you in 2010. I have so much more to give and I feel like my life is just beginning! I’ve dedicated so much time to my music that I never even took my road test or learned how to drive. Soon enough I will give that a go! For now, I’ll rely on taxis, family, and friends to get around town!
I also had some amazing friends in from California and got to show them our Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. Then we visited the vendors in Central Park and did some fun shopping.
New Year’s Eve is approaching and I can’t wait to ring in 2010. Count on me to wish all of you the very best that life has to offer!Let’s do our best this year to make a difference as teens and have fun doing it. I hope to be helping my friends over at Free the Children in Canada. And I hope to be giving all of you some really great music! Here’s to 2010!!!
Love, Tiffany xoxox
